About the Business
Our club teaches International Atemi Ju Jitsu which involves all aspects of Ju Jitsu. Throws, take downs, grappling, sparring, hold down techniques, various kicking and punching combinations are all included in our syllabus. A class begins with a gentle warm up, rotating the neck, shoulders etc right through to the feet. Next we'll jog on the spot to rise the heart rate and warm up all our muscles. Then we'll go onto stretching the legs, hip, shoulders and back which are required to be flexible when practicing Ju Jitsu.
After that we'll go through all the breakfalls which are required to prevent injury whilst being thrown. Then we'll partner up with someone of your standard and go through throwing and takedown techniques which have been taught in previous lessons. This all takes about 30-45 minutes to complete which leaves plenty of time for learning new moves and practicing syllabus.
