About the Business
IFK under 21 World Tournament, Greece. A fantastic day for our three Dunmow students & one from Saffron Walden who fought in this prestigious tournament. Amber Morris and Arin Yildirim lost in the early rounds of the cadets full contact but fought brilliantly. Kayley Morris came 3rd in the over 160cm girls category and she was captain of the GB - B team which came 3rd in the team event. Luke Stubbs came first in the boys over 160cm event and is now the World Champion - the first in the club's history! He also came first in the team event giving him two titles.
CONGRATULATIONS to Shihan Andrew who was nominated for the BBC Sports Personality Unsung Hero award by an old England student.
Shihan made it to the shortlist, the BBC came to film him at the Dojo and he was personally thanked by Eddie Izaard and Nicola Adams live on TV.
