About the Business
Braintree Shotokan Karate Club teaches all aspects of karate, kata, self defence, fitness and competition karate for adults and children of all ages and has been running for nearly 20 years. Dean Simpson 3rd Dan and former England International has helped many adults and children with confidence through disciplined training sessions turning youngsters into world class champions such as Hannah Baker European silver medalist and Akan Eka again European medalist. The club has also been very successful producing some of the best fighters on the competition circuit also many students being selected to fight on the England team, and have won British, English, European and World titles.
The club also holds 4 gradings per year. During the lessons students will be taught set moves and a kata depending on their grade and some self defence which will be tested in order to achieve the next grade.
